Let me just start off saying that sometimes we say things but don't get all of our thoughts out completely.
This happens often on a message board but its because you don't always understand the context or ones thoughts.
Everything I said was directed at this year alone.
I think we are trying to just get through this year.
I was very disappointed that the coaches didn't give JJ a few snaps and give JL a breather.
I did apologize to JL and now to you guys because I should've named my thread something different.
My title is the only questionable comment I've made!:(
I believe coaches should be given credit but should be criticized as well unlike a few posters on this board.
That is what people, fans, GMs, Owners and Athletic directors do.

I've never said anything bad about our qb's and I didn't say anything after any of our other games this season including the losses.
I waited until after the season was half way over and it didn't help that I felt we gave the game to Alabama and Nick Saban, of all things.

Let me say that our starting qb may or may not pan out but I do realize many qb's aren't very good their first year, even John Elway and Brett Favre struggled their first years in the NFL, first names that come to mind!
So, I never said any qb could or couldn't be better next year.
In sports, every year can be totally different.
If anything, all my arguments have been to give JL a breather although I don't think its a bad idea to start JJ against Troy and see what he can do.
I think he deserves a shot at getting some pt even if he doesn't start.

I am disappointed that people don't think that freshman in any sports can be better contributors or players, there are so many cases where this does happen.

I won't rehash the same old arguments that are in the threads.
I'm simply trying to provide a better understanding of my thoughts.
    Peace!:)

Well sure they can. But of course the flipside is they don't sometimes too... It's all good though sourdough. You were pissed and we all know that. I was a bit disappointed at a few things this season too.

That said, I do remember what it was like being a season ticket holder through the Hallman and Dinardo years.. That keeps me in check at times like these. I remember literally praying for a 3 loss season..

Now.. go drink eleven million shots of Jager as your penance and all will be ok. Except for your liver of course. :thumb:

So, if Lee starts Saturday are you watching or not? What about if Miles or Crowton are coaching? Will you watch then? LaFell dropped a couple passes. Should you boycott the game if he starts? What if Troy makes it a game? Will you watch the Ole Miss game? If we lose the next 3 games will you watch next season? If we play USL in a bowl game and Lee starts, will you watch? C'mon Sourdough. Where do you stand here?

    I forgive you. :thumb:

    And your frustrations are warranted.

The answer is in my original thread.
Twisted Tiger called me out on this one.
Many fans have said the same type of thing and watched the game regardless next week.!:hihi:
Serious though, I don't have gameplan.
I don't know just which ones will be televised.
    What do you think?
I like CLM's and love Crowton.
Its not all the coaches fault either.
I realize the coaches are in a tough spot, Crowton probably is pulling out his hair because he doesn't know what to call because of the inconsistant play at qb.
I may criticize a coach but that doesn't mean I don't like him or will not support him.
I will be looking for you, just put your picture here of yourself and the :crystal:.
What I've tried to say in this thread is that there are more than one way to look at a situation.
Suppose LaFell dropped a couple of passes because he's surprised that the ball hit him in the hands!
It wouldn't be the first time!:insane:
I was there the last time Troy made it a game btw.
I was also at tiger stadium when we got throttled by the Miami Hurricanes!
Only if you promise to streak on the field!
Only if McCain is elected and I am named head coach!:hihi:
Actually I survived the Archer, Hullman and Dinardo era and watched most games I think I can survive the Miles era.
    USL, University of Southern Lawyers?
I prefer to sit but sometimes I really think people take myself and others a little too seriously.

You asked for your thread to die. Now you create a new one?

I hate it when good sarcasm goes unappreciated.

It was a tough loss. I can understand being frustrated, particularly considering the way our QB played.

SD Man, the best advice I can give you is to NEVER post in anger after a loss. I learned a long time ago you regret things you post when a tough loss is fresh.

    Or clouded by consumption.

The 24 hour rule is a good one to follow.
