 Here is a clip of Ciron at the SEC media day. He discusses several topics, including his OL mates, Charles Scott, Rueben Randle, the QBs, Moffet, Stud, his faith, Tim Tebow, and how he would like to play WR. - OT Ciron Black, LSU Tigers, at 2009 SEC Media Days Video - al.com
Damn Strong. Very well spoken young man. To say Scott looks better now then last year, awe sh!t. :tigereye:
After watching that, I am sensing an explosion about to happen. Given the players we have and the season we had last year, I see a group of young men ready to bust wide open. This will be a very special season.:tigereye:
I'm glad that Ciron decided to come back. We almost lost him to the NFL draft. I'm proud of Ciron and look forward to watching him this season. He is gonna be nasty.
Ciron is a very, very, very intelligent young man. Anyone who talks to him past "Hi, How are you?", gets that sense right away.
Ciron is a great person. I know Ciron and I can say that he is a very good guy and is every bit of the nice guy that you read about in the Mikey stories. He steps up to the plate when he has to and will go out of his way for people. He is a huge man with an even bigger heart. He and I have a mutual friend and there are a few instances that he's really gone out of his way as a friend when needed. Ciron is pretty funny, too. I've been walking down Highland near the north gate a time or two and have had Ciron's big ass roll by on his little blue motor scooter, toot the horn and raise his tree trunk of an arm to say hey as he putts by.
That comes across immediately listening to him answer those questions. Very proud to have him as a Tiger.
Reminds me of Jeff Jenkins, a guy I played high school ball with who went on to play at LSU...just a great person in just about every way. I wish Ciron all the best.
He's an all-around good guy, great player, and an intelligent person. Guys like Ciron make a program.
