We are a well coached team that has it all going except for the problems on the O!!

No way a bunch of computer nerds, students, chem plant operators, truck drivers, house wives know more about football than Coach Miles and his staff!

There are 10 guys on that staff that all they do is think football. We are not telling them anything they are not fighting through. We are not that far from being right were we need to be.

I hate talking LSU football these days. It's all fire the coach , play JL!

We beat Auburn and show just a little better on the O and then a great warm up with Tulane it's Bama week.

You guys can roll over and let Sabama just have the game but this is one Tiger going to Bama to watch my Tigers beat down Satan!!!

What a sorry football band wagon town Baton Rouge is right now. Many in Baton Rouge have given up on this team and our Coach!

We win 3 games and bring out the Band Wagon!!! Load it up until something happens and Miles is the worst coach in the history of LSU!

The facts about Coach Miles like winning more games against top 10 teams in the history of LSU and of course SEC champs BCS champ won all 4 bowl games and top 5 recruiter!!!

You're right that we can still turn this around. You're wrong that there is a good excuse for being 109 out of 120 nationally in terms of offensive production. The QBs have been mismanaged, period, and the offense is a mess because of it. The defense is much improved but far from the dominant unit we've come to expect.

When it comes to coaches who have won a NC, don't forget Larry Coker. We backed into that NC. Miles has one under his belt, that is great. He's won a bunch of games. Great. But Miles is not above criticism and hasn't proven he is one of the greatest coaches of all time (despite what he gets paid).

I applaud your optimism and will be frothing by the time the Auburn game comes around, but don't tell us there is no room for criticism. Miles gets paid quite a bit to weather it and frankly, to perform better than he has these past 1.5 years.

 

Make that tens of thousands of us!

 

Im 57 and lived in this town my entire life. There is nothing you can tell me about LSU football that I have not lived through. Well , I didn't know the Kingfish!!

I am not a know it all but I assure you USC didn't know what to do on O against Washington. Bama kicked 5 FG's against the Rebs. The Gators got 1 TD!!

It is not as bad as the stats show on O and we are 5-1. Did I want some QB play and a running game against the Gators yep. But this is the same staff on O from the last 2 years. Do you think they have just got stupid this year.

Coach Miles is our coach period. My problem is the lack of faith in coach Miles and the over the top worship of Satan! Many folk don't think CLM had anything to do with Saban recruits over there 3 years under CLM. It was the Saban fairy dust that allowed them to lead us to the 07 BCS and now that all the Saban fairy dust is gone we are doomed!!! Oh my no more Saban players!! It's all over !!! Miles is a doop and doesn't have a clue!!!

This is all so stupid I don't know where to start. We have a hole is our QB position and we all know why. We are paying a price but our ST and Def play is picking up the team. Our feed of young top recruits coming in means our future is bright!

You guys want freshmen to play along with most of BR. I don't want them to have to play. I want a team made up of 4 year and 5 year players.

My sentiments exactly! You can relate CLM job to that of a corporate executive. It's his job to put his subordinates into a position to succeed. With the 4-5* talent he has to work with, being 109 out of 120 in the nation means that 91% of the offenses in the country show better on game day than our Tigers! That's criminal! That's like taking groups of Ivy league graduates and limiting their potential to shine at corporate level by sending the whole group to run an underachieving corner store...or better yet, putting them on the Titanic. That is not acceptable for a CEO making $4m/year! This is especially true when you throw in the fact that we aren't the team playing against superior programs trying to make a name for ourselves. We have been the supposedly "superior" team in every game except Florida this year. We are just entering the meat of our schedule, with Auburn, Arkansas, Alabama and Ole Miss yet to come our ranking offensively could go down if the right adjustments aren't made.

Wait a minute, Cliff. Everybody says that Miles has recruited top 5 classes since here, except for his first. Since he inherited top players and added like quality why don't we have a top 5 program? Logic says that these players are not being coached up or used effectively.


based on what are you saying they are not being coached? You must be talking about our low standing in Stats land on offense.

We are ranked in the top 10 and when we beat Auburn and Tulane we will be ranked higher. We go to Bama to fight the fight and pull out a win how does this sit with what you are saying.

You see my friend you are one of the many that have given up on the team. You don't have faith in the staff and I am sure you look at Satan over in bama land and wish Oh if Lord Satan was still our coach!!!!!


Don't give up! Go to the Auburn game and cheer. It's only the half way point and we have only lost 1 game!!!
