I am _______, Ask Me Anything (AMA)

Ok guys, this is a new idea that I've seen on other websites and I figured that we'd try it here. We are going to bring special guests to the board to answer questions that you guys have for them. The Q & A session will be live and will be in the Tiger's Den. The guest will be a high-profile guest. He may be an NFL player, a former LSU player, a current LSU player or someone somehow connected with the program.

I wanted to get your feedback on the idea. It will often be referred to as 'AMA' or 'Ask Me Anything'.

Of course, we will moderate the discussion but would hope that no one would get on here an embarrass themselves by asking foolish questions or posting anything derogatory. This board is a bit more mature than other LSU fan forums, so I feel comfortable trying it.

If it works, it will be a regular occurrence on the board.

Please give me your feedback. I'll answer any questions that you guys have. If it looks like y'all are up for it, we'll start with our first guest as early as next week.

 

Yeah, it will be someone tied to LSU Athletics (football, baseball, basketball, etc) so there will be plenty of interest. I will give a brief intro (including what years the player played, any championship credentials, etc.) and then I will open it up to the floor.

We will also somehow prove that it really is the person that we say it is. Maybe a picture of the guest holding a piece of paper with his name, the date and 'TigerFan.com AMA' or something.
