I actually LIKE Oregon's uniforms

    Yes, the game was at Kentucky in 1995, Gerry Dinardo's first year. He was part of a coaching staff that put Colorado in black pants and as HC he put Vandy in black pants, so the media assumed he would put LSU in purple pants. He did so, but at a non-televised road conference game just about as far away from BR as possible.

    The only pictures that show up on Google are a blurry photo someone took of the yearbook photo from the game and a black and white photo of Melvin Hill, who is misidentified as Jamie Howard (who missed the game due to injury). Otherwise, it has been banished from memory, except for those few who bought the pants in an auction at the end of the season.

    I certainly hope they never come back.

    Somebody, maybe ESPN, last year did a poll of college football players on which team has the best uniforms. I forget the exact numbers, but Oregon got over 45% and nobody else got over 5%.

    Oldsters like me tend not to like the Duck uniforms, but they are HUGELY popular in the 17-22 year old demagraphic and are a big help to our recruiting.

    To each his own. I think they suck. Oregon sucks. PAC 10-12 what ever it is sucks. This duck will not be able to repell this Tiger. Oregon's turned it into a damn fashion show. Play in your traditional uniforms, good grief. Tigers put this west coast BS away for good please. Really......I like there mascot thats about it,but Disney is trying to sue them for that one. Get a life.......

    Oregon likes to expand the bubble, my guess is 70% of Duck fans like the revolving uniforms and such.

    To each his own. Tigers do have nice unis.
