they always say the game they care about is the Michigan game. They've won that one a good close to 10 in a row now, probably. They'll live.
Me neither. Can't stand when the word "the" is used as a prefix to OSU. Like they are priviledged or something. Besides, the better team usually wins. And it did tonight, and in the rest of their bowl games.
that's a good point. If they'd be losing these games all the way they lost tonight, I'd feel bad. But the last 2 were beatings.
i was really feeling bad when they were winning during that twenty seconds. i had a feeling mccoy could change that.
12 guys from my street got together tonight to watch the Ohio State game with my neighbor who is from Ohio and a diehard fan. It was gut wrenching to watch that loss with him especially since he has stage IV stomach cancer. He is facing a mighty tough uphill battle and may not see another Ohio State game. No matter who we all normally pull for we were all Buckeye fans tonight. We had LSU fans there (me), USC, UCLA, North Carolina fans but tonight we were all fans for our neighbor and friend Bob who is only 46 years old with a wife and two little kids, 6 and 4years old.
Ohio St finished 10-3, crushed Michigan 42-7, were Big Ten co-Champions, went to a BCS bowl and went toe-to-toe with Texas. I doubt their fans need too much pity.
All of these past losses in Bowl games are a payback (or evening things out) after they were gifted with a NC in that OT win over Miami in which back judge Terry Porter threw that 7 second-delay pass interference penalty in the end zone. You don't know how offending their fans are.
