Agreed, Peterson should have been On Green on the touchdown pass, and on the long pass that set Georgia up for the score and made Cox Numbers look halfway decent, was an obvious blown assignment.

We did indeed dominate that game. Hats off to Chavez and the boys on D

LSU didn't call the penalty. We took what was given to us and made a play, thats it. Without the penalty, IMHO, the way the offense was working we would have gotten within fieldgoal range anyway. Whine about your defense Jawja fans, thats what you should be pissed about ..... woof, woof :hihi:

well no it's not the same

We had a 1:09 seconds left and only needed a FG to win
They had 40 seconds and needed a touchdown just to tie

I think Georgia fans would have a much better argument had we kicked a 50 yarder to win it (meaning the 15 yards made all the difference in the world)

But they let Scott plow through them for a game winning TD

Other than those 2 calls, i thought the ref's let them play and kept the whistle to a minimum. I saw lots of holds on both sides, and a few PI's on both sides, especially on AJ Green pushing off. (AJ Green reminds me of Randy Moss, dude has a knack for pushing off and not getting called for it) Considering the way the refs were a non factor for most of the game, that was kind of weak to throw those 2 penalties. But........... Georgia had every opportunity to come back and win that game, they blew it, game over, move on BRING ON FLORIDA!!!!

We scored in 29 seconds, they had 40, so it actually favors them.

For the record, I think the penalty sucked. It is one of the stupidest rules I have seen.

Bad calls are part of the game. I hate them, but they are part of the game and every team is eventually both the victim and beneficiary of crappy calls.

However, it did not look to me like the Bulldogs would have stopped Charles Scott if he was 15 yards further back on that final TD. Scott had already blown through almost the entire Bulldog defense and was headed to the endzone with a full head of steam.

If "if" were a "skiff", we could all go alligator hunting!

Holliday caught the kickoff at the 16 yard line. Returned to UGA's 45.

Boykin caught his kickoff at the 22 yard line. Returned 11 yards to the 33.

    THAT was the difference.
