Seriously, LSU won this game because Trindon Holiday took the kickoff from his own 17 and returned it into Georgia territory. Georgia if you want to win? Cover the Kickoff? Kick it away from Holiday,………….AND oh ya……Play Defense! Your LB got ran over by Charles Scott on his 33 yard Touchdown burst!

After our 15 yard celebration penalty, we wanted to win, so what did we do????? WE COVERED THE DAMN KICKOFF!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody, Every Team has been screwed by the Refs before, but I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS CALL IS THE SOLE REASON WHY GEORGIA LOST THIS FOOTBALL GAME.

they learned how to cry and bitch from their head coach.
wasn't it 2002 when Richt cried about not being in the nat'l champ game but they didn't even win their division???
How can you be a national champ but come in 2nd in your division? don't bring up nfl...that's the pros.

Conan! What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

Yeah kicking off to Holliday was just plain stupid. He had just run it back 50 yards the time before, although we were called for a silly penalty.

How could that not be fresh on their minds?

I could see if they had a booming kicker putting the ball in the back if the endzone all day long (but that wasn't the case) and not having the chance to do it again.

I thought Mark Richt didn't care about the penalties against his team? When I heard that, I was thinking to myself this guy is not worthy of a head coach.

Georgia got screwed twice on celebration penalties but in the end it didn't affect the outcome of the game. LSU got screwed too.

I do agree the Celebration Penalties can be bias and there is a fine line between what excessive and not. It is truly up to the Ref. I do not believe that is what cost Georgia the Game and I cant belive how Ignorant some of the Georgia news papers and sports analyst are being.

That is the worst argument ever. We got the exact same penalty the next series so that right there nullifies any right to whine that they may have had. On top of that we dominated them the whole game. The only reason they were even in a position to win at the end was because we let them due to red zone mis-cues.
