If J. Manziel, you know that dude who plays for one of those Texas schools, think it's the one with all those male cheerleaders, played for LSU, same scenario, Miles is the coach, how would this have all played out to date? Would Manziel still be on the team? If yes, would he be benched or would he be playing? The reason I find this intriguing is because Les has twice kicked off arguably the best player on his team. One didn't win the heisman but was in NY and should have won the damn thing. Thoughts?
JFF...I only see that on aggie forums, like how you only see people refer to Saban as "Coach Saban" on tidefans.com (and the tusk guy makes himself look like an idiot doing it here on occasion), and you only see LCGP on tcu forums (Legendary Coach Gary Patterson, I assume). with JFF, I assume it means he's not just Johnny Football, but he's Johnny F---ing Football as for the OP, the bigger question is would the senior LSU officials like the President-Chancellor and such be sticking their neck out vigorously defending how Johnny White Trash is in the right, a man of high character, and a man that exemplifies the Aggie Code of Honor? No way in hell, I'd think, but those senior aTm officials surprisingly did so, and that is a much bigger deal than whatever their football coach does or thinks
If he were in Baton Rouge you know damn well he'd be playing football. And many of our fan base would be saying he's just a kid or whatever the excuse of the day is when one of our players is a bonehead or a jackass or an outright scumbag. While I respect Miles and what he's done and how he's done it, he doesn't have a monopoly on integrity and some of the other coaches aren't the scumbags some of the faithful here tend to make them out to be. As talented as he is you bet your sweet ass he'd be on the field. He may have gotten a slap on the wrist, but that's all. He'd be suiting up on Saturdays.
This would have been a non issue because if he was playing for LSU he'd have been playing in the NCG instead of signing autographs during it.
I did. but to make it more obvious: Les answers to the AD who answers to the president-chancellor, who answers to the board of Supervisors. for example, when Les wanted Cam as OC, both Les and Cam had to appear before the board of Supervisors very humbly and ask for permission. the video of the meeting is on YouTube. with sumlin, what he does or doesn't do also has to be approved by his bosses. and the top guys at aTm have already gone public sticking their neck out for Johnny, so the question is what are they going to do now? I assume they'll lay low while making damn sure that Johnny better quit acting like jackass on the field. johnny will probably do that and that'll be a wrap
Really? I don't recall anyone wanting Jefferson's auto. Remember last year our fullback getting a little attitude one game last year? It wasn't tolerated and he stood up and apologized to the team for his actions.
