The next head coach at UT has to be, if anything, politically correct. He/she has to have a connection to the University of Texas and ideally a graduate of the UT Law school. He/she must be biracial and if in the proper percentages they have a leg up. That is to say 5% Chinese American, 12% African American, 23% Hispanic American, 6% other and the rest Texan good ole boy. Talk of bringing the glass ceiling down is much in vogue around campus, so a woman would be much preferred and if that woman is a lesbian, well there you have your next University of Texas head coach. A biracial, lesbian, good ole boy. Hmmmm?
Wouldn't leave for Mich, won't leave for ut, most of their problems are off the field. An who did uscw get, who did udub get. Good thing about udub, win 7 or 8 games an they are happy.
Every loss, Les takes the blame. Maybe he should do like the little one and throw everyone under the bus.
I still think Texas is making a mistake if they don't get Art Briles. The dude IS Texas football. With all the experience and relationships he has formed in that state he could probably get the pick of the litter on the recruiting trail in state.
I think both sides are passed it. Les had his chance the first time Michigan came calling, the second time was just out of courtesy. Now both realize the marriage was never meant to be and have moved on.
Why would Texas want another Mack Brown? Les maybe considered for an interview, but they'd never hire him.
And some of it is Saban, and some of it is board of directors, and some of it is fans, and some of it is players, and some of it is the atmosphere, and some of it is state of Louisiana, etc....
Agree with most of these except Briles. If he's offered the job, there's no way in hell he says no. Why would he chose staying at Baylor over Texas?
