LSU's opening football game with the University of Washington huskies on Sep 5th will be played on Field Turf. The UW athletic department is replacing their Seahawk turf with the newer artificial grass turf. My oldest sister and I will be there to cheer on the Tigers though we live here in the Pacific northwest, both of us on islands in the Puget Sound area. Our younger sister will coming up from Baton Rouge with a friend. There are many great seafood restaurants on the waterfront - try one or more of them if you come up for the Tiger-Husky game. My favorite dish is wild Alaskan salmon or wild Halibut. Some Lake Charles friends of ours visited last September and brought me a wonderful LSU throw for my legs when I watch the Tigers on TV through the year. It's a privilege to be one of six Tiger siblings alumni, a feat in itself. Looking forward to a great start for the 2009 LSU football team. :geaux:
