Terry, you see that news yesterday about Tebow's best buddy sigining with Flordia? Supposedly got Bama super worried at this point. Talk on Fox 6 and Paul FinneBaum's radio show yesterday with most fans was how they didn't really need the kid anyway. I thought that was funny. I had a hardtime containing myself over it. Deep in that position or not, which Bama is not, any school would have a hard time saying they didn't need this kid. He is good and will make an impact.
Rick Karle and Finebaum aren't people I pay a great deal of attn. to what they have to say. Finebaum is all about his schtick...which is tiring. I saw the commit to UF but Tebow is good friends with Will Oakley (already on campus) and Hirschman....so just because the kid went to UF doesn't "shake things up" with those who know him. Heck, I talked with his pastor just a few days ago after that verbal and he still said he thought Tim would end up in Bama. I live in Charleston, SC...but do make it down to T-town often. I'd imagine the next time I'll think about going down is when the SEC basketball season starts. Capitol One gets the second pick for the bowl...so I'd imagine the loser of the SECCG would end up going there. South Carolina seems to think they are headed to the Outback so I guess that'll leave UF in the Peach, and Bama in the Cotton.
And you, the great Kteam, are in a position to call SEC West Champion college coaches dumb & declare which recruits are mightiest! Who's to say that Les & Jimbo dropped Cate for Tebow? They might not plan on signing a top QB (or any QB) in this class. Perhaps they have an eye on someone for next year.
Kteam for new coach he knows who should be recruited and could win a national champ every year we will be in great shape when skip gives him the job. He is already more knoweldgeable than any d1 head coach or any recruting service since Tebow is the number 1 recruit on everybodys list.
