talked to crip a bit via text yesterday. they are without power and it could be several days before they get any.
just heard from nootch. family is all ok, they are in gulf shores and cant go home yet. they are hoping tomorrow they will be let back in. the news they are getting is their house is ok but montegut is devastated.
That was my poor wife after Katrina, except she was only 7 months. I had to drive from Mississippi to Arkansas before I finally found her an air conditioned hotel room after a 2 3hr waits for gas along the way. It was sooo freakin hot the days afterwards, there was no way I was going to let her suffer through that in her condition. I would've driven to Canada if I had to.
So there's a TF party going on in Gulf Shores?? I do have a free beach trip with the hubby... wonder if I should cash it in soon? Best wishes to everyone in South La. Our mayor is sending supplies and support workers to Baton Rouge. I called them this morning to thank them and offer any support. I understand they are speaking with Mayor Holden's CAO. http://www.wtok.com/news/headlines/27828964.html

So, i hope everyone made it through alrite. Is it too early to start counting down to the North Texas game?? BTW, check out this picture i took at our tailgating for the Appy St. game.
