When he committed I got an email from him asking about who he could get in contact with with ties to UA and the banking industry. I shot him contact info and talked to him off and on from that day up until now. You'd be surprised how funny he's always been. The thing is...he's just now getting comfortable on camera. I think calling the games has done wonders for him. His wife is pretty outgoing as well. It's changed him.
I use to watch him on camera in the Alabama booth and his hands would shake like he was a nervous wreck. Public speaking has got to be a nightmare for a lot of people. But I'm not surprised about his personality, he's an engaging person. And if he ever gets the pieces together at Florida, a very good coach.
