Nice. I think we still have a couple more that could be bumped in the last 2 publications (December, January). Yahoo Sports: Rivals.com 2012 LSU Commitments 12 four star 7 three star 1 two star (who I have to believe will get a 3rd star before all is said and done)
I'm not sure if the 2 star will get the bump to 3 or not since he is a long snapper. They don't tend to rank the special team boys too high. The others in the class that are 3 stars look good though. All seem to have the size and speed needed to make a contribution. In the past, there were a few you could point to as weak links. Predictably many became attrition candidates. I can't really do that this year. For example, WR Holmes has superior speed, the OL guy from St.Mary's is 6-7. In the past you may have had a few undersized guys, and some that needed to change positions to have a chance at playing time, but I don't really see that this year. I think we have a deep class.
The OL guys are tall. 6 8, 6 7, 6 7, 6 6, and 6 2 (the snapper). Miller needs to start eating, 260 won't do it in the SEC.
Miller has been playing his senior season in the 285-290 range. He will be fine after a season of two under Moffit.
I just noticed that he was the long snapper. You're right, he probably won't get a 3 star bump. Was wondering why we recruited a 6'2" 214 lb O-lineman. :hihi:
Because he is the #1 long snapper in the nation and will likely start there from day 1. Oh and don't forget he is teammates with Vadal Alexander.:hihi:
