Friend of mine out of the Morgan City area was talking about a running back (i think) who was being scouted early on and predicted to be one of the nations top recruit. Anybody hear of this. From the time of the discussion to now, that should put the kid near his Sr year. :helmet:
Closest I can think of would be Jimmy Smith out of Patterson, but he's a state school type at best. The next Hilliard is on the way though. He's just a freshman, but Tommy Minton tells me he's going to be a beast. Tiger fans may not realize that Grant Dozar from MCHS committed to Coach Manieiri recently. He'll likely be a shortstop or outfielder. Grant has a quick bat, good wheels and an excellent head for the game. He's also a natural leader.
Your friend might have been thinking about Tank Callais out of Patterson. He graduated last year and signed as a DB with LaTech.
