I remember that. I think that was more on Colt McCoy, since the clock was already stopped pre-snap and they didn't have to rush players on/off the field. McCoy was supposed to make an instant read to primary receiver and throw if it was there or sling it out of bounds. Since he was pressured, he had to scramble before releasing it and it almost cost them the game.
We need a QB that can execute the play calling. It appears the OC didn't know what to call in the booth. Line them up in the I and pound them is what I would have done. The play before, JJ doesn't pitch on an option. You don't need to cover the pitch guy. If we are going to run the option, put in Ware or Shepard to run it. It would have been a good place for a fake option and throwing a pass; however, JJ telegraphs his passes. It isn't the coaches, it is the hole at QB.
So its Lee and JJs fault that no play was called at the end of the game? Its their fault that Lee was moving the ball but JJ kept being brought back into the game? Its also their fault the team has no focus or discipline?
When I say regression, Im talking about performance. As in the increase in penalties, drops, etc. A lot goes on the players, but its a growing trend in each season. While its not all dark, there is some good going on. I agree there. Im just done with Miles, I have no faith in him. I measure LSU against the top teams, which is where weve faultered. I guess we will agree to disagree.
