I'll go with 11-2 with a Sugar Bowl appearance. I cant bring myself to go any lower than that.

Biggest games are Fla, Ga, Bama, Ole Miss. I think we split them, if we win 3 our of those four, always a possiblity that we drop one we shouldn't. But Washington isn't a gimme to me ( worry by nature, I don't feel any SEC game is a gimme). New coach, and are on several pundits lists for most improved teams.

    10-2 regular season.

The reason i don't like this scenario is because i just don't think we will beat Florida in the SECCG if we can't beat them at night at home. I think flip flopping the records would be more accurate going into the SECCG.

9-3. unproven qb and a pretty tough league.

losses to UGA, UF, and Bama.

    I'll just be really vague.

I'm thinking 10+ wins by season's end. Topped with Sugar. :tigereye:

I'm with you on this. Our QB play last year was bad and will be better, but the real problem was our defense, which will be light years better. Our defense will keep offenses off the field and our offense will capitalize. I expect to be handing out some beatdowns owed from last year.

I think QB play will be sufficient, at times perhaps annoying (can't be worse than last year, I keep scratching into the walls of my padded cell), but I look for our defense to step up.

It does disturb me to see Ciron Black talking about how everything was fine last year from a leadership perspective, except that sometimes they didn't have their minds right. He made too many excuses in that interview, but I suppose from a player that isn't too unexpected.

But he basically (unintentionally?) threw the OC under the bus, and IMO was dead wrong.

If we go 9-3 and see a second season of the swiss cheese defense, I'll be deep in my cups far before New Years.

This is as close as I see to reality on this post.

I DO think undeafeated is POSSIBLE.
However, being realistic I think we'll lose to UF in the regular season and then spank that azz in the SEC Championship. After that.......Play for the crystal ball and win it handilly.

According to this thread, everyone thinks we go 9-3 / 10-2. That is about where LSU should be predicted to finish every year (with this coach and previous recruiting classes). No one is really going out on a limb here.

The real question is how do you win that one extra game in order to make your season a success? At 11-1 (and even 10-2) you will have a chance to play for a national championship. All you have to do is win one more game (SECCG) and you should have a chance to play for the BCS NC every year.

We will thump Ole Miss. I know everyone says they are really good but come on they just dont have the athletes LSU has.

    Georgia, rebuilding year

    Alabama?

Floridia will be tough but they are an eastern team and if you are going to drop one game it would help if it was to them with redemtion coming in the SECCG.

Every QB we face this year won't look like a genious. A real defense will pay dividends.
