Exactly right. He's much better at finding and exploiting the matchup that most favors us and he's definitely a much much better, unpredictable playcaller.

I think FL game plan will be to blitz the crap out of Mett! Try to make him gun shy. The first part of this game is going to be a test for our OL and Mett. It won't be until after Mett burns them a few times that the blitz strategy will have to back off. I think once our offense can slap down their initial approach of a blitz, then it will become a great chess match between their defense and our offense. But as has been seen in all our games leading up to this one, including the loss to GA .. it's really going to come down to our DEFENSE getting a clue. Murphy is no slouch. I don't care what kind of excuses people are giving .... "never played in this atmosphere" ... "rookie", etc etc .. he is good! In fact, I've been more impressed with Murphy that Driskell .. and think Driskell did the Gators a favor by getting hurt.
I think the key to this game is not LSU's offense against Florida's defense but whether LSU's defense can stop Florida's running game. If they can we win. If they can't we lose.
It's called realism, Sunshine. My first post said that Florida is overconfident about their defense. My second said that we are overconfident about our offense versus Florida. Both are true. Wise up.
Ummm attack our secondary with play action pass just like everyone else. And it will work bc our secondary sux. We should eke out a close win though but we will continue to show our pass defense/rush defense
