by cutting into his playing time and messing up his rythm. Exact same reason we saw over the last 2 seasons that a 2 QB system does not work.
Actually its #88, but I would not put too much stock into that 1 statistic. You have to remember that total yards gained are tied directly to starting field position which we have been winning the battle of field position in EVERY game this season. So when you start at your own 40yd line its tough to rack up yards. Lets take a look at the more tell tale signs that the young man is on track: Completion Percentage: 64.4% TD to INT Ratio: 6-1 *with the 1 int being a busted route QB Rating: 145.1 Red Zone Scoring: 19 of 20 *16 of which are TDs, and should be 20 of 20 but RR dropped one that was on the money vs WVU. be careful about looking at a single stat and making a judgement on that 1 alone.
Again, how many td's did jj throw for during the regular season last year? How many did lee throw for so far this year? How many interceptions did jj have last year? How many has lee thrown this year? What is the media saying about lsu now? What did they say about our offense last year? Did you watch jj throw the ball during the spring game? Do you remember just how pathetic he looked with his windmill throwing action? Do you really want to see lsu run the short side option over and over and over and over and over? Do you enjoy our passing game now? Who is throwing the ball for td's and first downs without interceptions? Why would you want our qb that is achieving results to be interfered with an athlete that is prentending to be a qb all the while butchering our offense and making us the butt of jokes all last year?
You apparently missed the main part of my response, but here is where I pulled my numbers from: 2011 NCAA Division I-A College Football Team Statistics Leaders for Passing - ESPN
Big difference in throwing off your back foot missing receivers and throwing off your back foot but hitting receivers. The passing game is light years ahead of where it was last season. Lee is a big part of the improvement. It's not a finished product by no means, but much much improved.
If he starts, poorly (and rightfully so.) That's not goign to happen though. If we are up by 50 at the half and Mett comes in for the 3rd and JJ comes in for the 4th, he'll get applause.
88/98 "green jacket/gold jacket who gives a sh!t" read further in my reply, unless you just want to stop at that ranking. In that case there is no intelligent discussion that can possibly follow.
