How we beat Alabama

Guys.......Right now, I dont even know how you think we will score on Alabama, let alone beat them. Our pass offense is atrocious! Run game won't dominate without a passing threat. None of our WR's will be more physical than Bama's DB's, Mett can't handle the Townson pass rush, and we are expecting him to handle Alabama's?


Call me what you want, but NO way on God's Beautiful Green Earth that Zach Mettenberger can make enough improvement over the next 2 weeks to beat Alabama. LSU needs Alabama to beat their self or some Saturday Night Baton Rouge Voodoo to pull this off.

Maybe Miss State will soften them up for us. We have softened up enough for other teams.

 

You know, IF LSU manages to beat Bama, MSST, Ole Miss, and Arkansas, it would likely be UF in the SECCG as the 1 team in the nation. And IF we win that, we would have beaten 2 separate number 1 teams and a number 3. How many other teams have defeated 2 different number 1's in a season?

 

...when Miles' worst team took Bama to OT. I can't believe so many people here think our losing on the 3rd is a foregone conclusion.

You are right. The offense / offensive play calling is awful.

 

which means he's lost one in a row in baton rouge. i don't see a way we beat bama, i'm so sorry to say. if i was in that locker room i wouldn't say that...not becasue i'd get my ass kicked (i would) but because that's what the team has to believe. lets be honest, since chavis has been at lsu we wouldn't have finished in the top 20 at years end if not for our defense. our offense has struggled too much during the miles era. if he's not doing "the hat" kind of trick plays, and he hasn't for a couple of years now, our offense is a vanilla as it gets. we can't throw and catch! our offensive coaching sucks!

 

We can't go 0-10 or 1-13 on 3rd downs or the will wear the D out, just like FU did.

 

And, LSU's offense has just gotten worse, while Bama's Defense has gotten better. I'll be cheering like crazy in Baton Rouge that night. It's my bday and I couldn't ask for a better gift. I am just hoping for something crazy in the air Saturday night November 3rd....something as freak as Mettenberger actually having a great game, or Alabama having an atrocious game.Just being realistic, that offense, can't score on Bama's defense
