In a previous post I said I knew they werent a top 12 school. Saying who they beat is irrelevant. The fact is Bama spanked them all over the field. Bama doesnt beat themselves like LSU constantly does. The thing is Bama plays to their potential while not consistently shooting themselves in the foot. They show improvement. You wont see Bama struggle against Idaho or Towson. All Im saying is LSU will have to play its best game of the year. The coaches will have to bring a focus to this team we havent seen. We will also need to see the OL play with a real meanstreak like against S Carolina. LSU has the talent, will it be molded? Will leaders step up?
The last time LSU lost to Miss. State was in 1999. While Bama didn't lose to MSU in '99, it was a loss that sealed Mike Shula's fate in 2006. The last loss to MSU was 2007. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with passing to rushing attempts. MSU couldn't run the ball. The only way they were able to move the ball were short passes.
