    34-6

    2005
    1. Tennessee has to make a remarkable comeback to beat LSU in overtime. Jimbo Fisher has LSU offense go into the tank in the 2nd half.
    2. Georgia takes it to a very tired and emotionally spent LSU team. This would be the only rout in the Les Miles era through 40 games.

    2006
    3. Auburn wins a hard fought 7-3 victory. Jimbo Fisher is clueless in his gameplan against Auburn.
    4. Florida capitalizes on numerous turnovers and mental errors on their way to a 28-16 win. Much closer game than the score indicated.

    2007
    5. Kentucky's Woodson showed why he was a Heisman candidate for much of the season.
    6. Darrin McFadden showed why he was a close 2nd in the Heisman balloting. A banged up LSU defense could not stop a potent running attack.

Only 3 games in 40 has LSU lost in regulation. So LSU has basically gone 34-3-3 in the old style of the "tie". Pretty damn incredible.

Too bad Gary Crowton wasn't our OC in 06. I think LSU would have gone undefeated that season and a NC victory over an undefeated Ohio State. It would have been back to back NCs for LSU over OSU this season, in that scenario.

My first game in TS was 1972. I've seen many historic games first hand. While we have had some great years in the past decades of LSU football, since 2000, we are in the greatest era in our football history. There is no comparison! In today's game, what the Tigers have done is harder than one can imagine. 2 NC and 4-0 in BCS bowls!

We as members of the Tiger Nation need to soak up as much of this as possible and never forget the memories up to this point. Reflect on what a ride we've had, especially this year. We need to realize the MSM have never and probably will never give us the due respect as they do the PAC10 or BIG10, but who cares what they think!

    We are LSU! .
We have :crystal: :crystal: and :milesmic: .
