UNC eliminates SC. So it's 1. UNC, 3. OSU, 4. LSU and 5 unseeded teams in the CWS.

Thank you UNC for taking down SC! SC's unstoppable three-straight CWS Championship Series and record-setting NCAAT run has come to an end.

I wanted to avenge our only series loss from this season...

I wanted an inexperienced team, not one that's made the finals 3 straight years and won 2.

You can't hide from the "best" on the road to glory.

You can look at like we just avenged our loss to them by getting to the CWS while they didn't. If there was any team i didn't want to see make the CWS this year, it was SC. Getting to claim four straight trips to Omaha, with 3-4 finals appearances plus 2-3 NCs, they would be impossible to out-recruit

Toughest road would be wins over UCLA-North Carolina-Oregon State, and then 2 out of 3 with Oregon State or North Carolina.

6 NCs is pretty damn tough to out-recruit, wouldn't you say?
