I guess this is where our opinions differ, I will say they aren't any better than Republicans. Hmm, I am trying to figure this out..............
I believe in the founding fathers and their beliefs which means pro 1st and 2nd Amendment. This is why I stand more with Conservatives not to mention smaller government, etc.
The Dems are known for gun control and out lawing guns in some cities.

I don't know how to respond here exactly, Obama is who he is. He is very left wing and is one of the most divisive presidents ever. I don't like him based on the things that spew out of his mouth and his background including Rev Wright, Bill Ayers and Tony Rescoe. I believe you are who you associate with. Lets just say ok fine but I don't think some of these charges are ridiculous at all. I hope you are correct and I'll leave it at that.

This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. He's been President for three years and you are still talking about issues long debated and forgotton. It's pure hate with you and I just don't get it. You have accused him of having a bad foreign policy and I had to point out all of his successes. You have held him responsible for Bush's recession and I had to point out that Obama has got us climbing steadily out of it. GDP is up, the market is up, unemployment is down and bin Ladin is dead.

No, I don't hate him at all, that is too strong a word to use for me. I don't trust him because of the comments he and his wife have made, they grew up in a different world or country than I did. Policy also plays a role because I disagree with many words and actions he has done while in office including treating allies badly while embracing some of those dictators around the world. In politics, perception is reality. WE don't know all of the truth right now about the Black Panther Case, Fast and Furious, Solyundra. I think this administration is bad, above the law and bad policies for the country. I think it is relevant to talk about his background because of the words he uses such as calling the other side of the aisle the enemy and hand to hand combat.
I disagree about the successes of foreign policy because it remains to be seen what happens or is happening in Egypt, Libya and Iran. I also disagree that it is all on Bush, the Democrat Congress was in control for the last 6 years or so.
Like you said he has been in office for 3 years, are you saying he shouldn't get any blame for anything including the economy and all the credit? That is what you make it sound like to me anyway.
We need to consider all the laws the Democrat Congress has passed and determine just how much that has played into the collapse of the economy if any. Fannie May and Freddie Mac, etc, Republicans played a role also but I believe without a doubt Chris Dodd and Barney Frank are partly responsible.
It is ironic to me that the government hasn't had any independent investigations into the last few bubbles, housing bubble, . Com, etc.
Again I am not trying to leave out Republicans only pointing out the Democrats in power right now and over the last few years. I have blamed in this forum, plenty of things on George Bush.
