Everyone Should Read! One side isn't any better than the other.
Its foolish to take up for the Republicans or Democrats in many ways, they are one, together getting rich while the American people suffer!

That is the one thing that I didn't check out. The article makes a lot of sense to me when you consider what has been going on in this country for a long time.
As far as I'm concerned the government is broken, stuck in the middle between a liberal or conservative viewpoint just like the media. Both are failing in my view but the voters are partly to blame. Some are too busy doing other things and take their jobs as voters to lightly while others vote for one party or another depending on their checks from the government or corporations. The way I see it money is too deeply involved in politics and lobbyists have too much power. We can spend a lot of money on elections to elect politicians to ruin the country but we can't raise enough money to save the country from ourselves, deficits and debt.

I'm actually on the fence, my response to Watson is more like what I believe. If you read the article you would understand that Democrats are just as bad as the Republicans!:hihi::grin:

Exactly, that is one of the reasons why I am also but that is what I don't understand. Why do you defend Obama and the Democrats like you do? They are just as corrupt and as bad if not worse than the Republicans.

That's the deal . . . . the Dems are NOT worse than the republicans. They ain't perfect by any means but they are closer to the center and far more flexible and willing to compromise than the rigidly ideology of the GOP. I defend Obama from the ridiculous charges made here from time to time. The right-wingers charge him with all kinds of ridiculous things, which I shoot down all of the time.
