I really hate to do this and I'm going to go find some cover from the hand grenades that are sure to follow, buuuuuuuuuuut: How should LSU! use Shepard next year? Holding a clipboard on the sidelines while he takes his redshirt year. I agree Harvard transferring back to the Crimson put a kink in my scenario but I still think the best thing for Shep and  is to give him a year to learn the system, adjust to the speed and just generally get his college feet under him. Ok, be gentle, please. :hihi::hihi::hihi: :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
He's far to talented to keep off the field. I think we should expect him to at least get a handful of touches per game his freshman year. A minimum of 5 sounds about right to me. Between him being lined up at QB and receiver. :thumb:
There is no point in redshirting a player that's likely to go to the NFL in three years, it's a waste. If Jefferson claims the starting QB role then I say put Randle and LaFell at wideout, put Sheppard in the slot and run "homie go long" 2 or 3 times a half.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be offended by this, but that is hilarious! And I actually agree...
