Like Aurburn we have unfinished business with the piggies from last year. I am sure they have their minds right for this game and I expect them to take care of business in a manner similar to the way they did against the barners.
“We all have just one goal: Get to the national championship. And we don't think anything can stop us from doing that but ourselves,” LSU defensive tackle Michael Brockers said. We've played Top 5 teams, Top 15 teams, it doesn't matter,” LSU offensive guard Will Blackwell said. “Regardless of whether (Arkansas) was ranked No. 3 or No. 100, it would still mean the same. Thats how ready they are!!! This team is different than any team I have seen at LSU in my 40 years of watching them.:miles:
It's a holiday weekend, team meeting and meal, and all business for LSU! Seniors all know that this Arkansas team has "spoiled" them in the past ... the most notable win in 2007. LSU will destroy Arkansas Friday ... I pity these Hawgs ... for about two minutes ... because they'll always come back with their lame 3 out of the last "whatever" crap ... So we need to merciLESly gut them during the Mettenberg era ... this year I hope Mett gets in late and does another TD run ... that would be the cognac on my cake ... We bury their azzes this year ... then we dig 'em up and kill 'em again next year with a huge offensive output by Mett and another great dee
These kids aren't immune as to all the talk surrounding this game. They are constantly reminded of all the media jumping on the Arkansas bandwagon thinking upset. They know. They know.
