Nothing would make me happier than seeing Bama get to the golden ring just to have it pulled from their hands. As for us I would like to see us win out and have some momentum going into next year.

Are we sure Oregon / K-State can beat Bama?

I'm thinking the only team that has a shot is K State. They play great defense and are led on offense by a Tebowesque quarterback but instead this one actually isn't just a big meathead, he actually had some smarts.

KSU... just like ND... is pretty much smoke and mirrors.

Marcus Mariota and his Ducks are the best shot at beating Bama. Their defense held up just fine against Auburn a couple years ago.... quite frankly, an Auburn team that shouldn't have even been there.

That 2010 Auburn team was a 7-4 Chick-Fila-Bowl team with 1 freakishly good player.

They didn't hold up very well to our pitiful offense last year. I guess we'll probably see, though. Personally, I think Bama wins by two touchdowns or better. Nothing can touch the SEC this year. Somebody said that the LSU-Bama game was the defacto national championship game, because the two best teams in the country went head-to-head.

Not so fast. The quack attack has a fighting chance. I wouldn't rule out k st completely either. Speaking of bad offenses punching holes in defenses, no better example than last week.

Bamas has questions. We have answers.

Bama is beatable, and I think either Oregon or K-State could beat them. I don't think this Bama team is nearly as good as their team from last year; the 2011 LSU team would've beaten the 2012 Bama team pretty easily. It goes without saying that the 2012 Tigers aren't nearly as good as the 2011 version.

But that's a tough bar to rise above because I still think the '11 Tigers were the best LSU team I'd ever seen.

Pre-jj return. It's hard to say best when your passing o is almost last in division 1. And you get shut the fuck down completely in your biggest game.

We also posted a couple of our best offensive games post-JJ return. We had two mediocre at worst, average at best QB's on the squad last year. But we may never, ever see LSU run through the SEC like a wrecking ball that way again. I wish I had the whole regular season on DVD to use as football porn.
