They can't even hold their championship game at a neutral site. Discuss.

Maybe they should build stadiums with only 30K seating.

Yeah.. especially the schools with 30k+ students and BCS-level budgets.

I think it is cool that they don't have it at a neutral site, I would much another game in Tiger Stadium (which is where it would be this year assuming we would use their rules) than a game in Georgia.

I mean…the Georgia Dome seats 72,000 and Tiger Stadium seats 92,000. Sure would be nice to have 20,000 more tickets to buy.

The 'neutral' sites are in San Fran, Candle Stick, the Oakland Coliseum, Murp (SD) and Seahawks' Qwest Field... all have pro teams and grass or a soccer team so the field would be less than ideal for a game the day before. No domes as well. Also, college sports is considered second rate for entertainment dollars in most Pac areas.

Forgot Invesco in Denver, similar issues there, too.

I bet they sell more tickets for a fashion show or Elton John concert than a football game. You know how those west coast types are.

Arizona Cardinals stadium (Fiesta Bowl) is indoor but that's the only one I can think of.

I bet the stadium in some west coast cities would be sold out if Texas a&m played a game there with their yell leaders( all male cheerleaders in spandex).

LOL .....living in LALA land there is alot of fan support for the local USuC and UCLA........ the stadiums Coliseum and Rose Bowl always pretty full...hell we cant even support a NFL team because of other distractions ...........the problem out here is that we arent "localized" there are "hundreds of thousands " folks from all over that root for their home state (like me ) plus there are quite a few college teams that arent even on the radar that take away from just a couple of programs.......
