There are only three games left on the schedule that we can say are for sure wins. The rest will be dogfights. I think we have a chance in all of them, but not as high as in previous years.
First of all, we'll get better and shore up a few loose ends. Secondly, here's what I see: We're already 1-0. Vandy -W; they're not very good Miss St - W; home opener and this will be a tough game Tenn -W McNeese - W ULM -W Ole Miss - W; they lost to Jacksonville St Auburn - W; How many points did they give up to Ark State? 26. I think we win this one. Florida - W; They looked terrible in their opener. I know they're loaded with talent, but this isn't the Gartors year. Call me crazy, but that's 9 wins right there. All we have to do is win 1 of the following 4 games to reach 10 wins: WVU - we play them in Tiger Stadium 'Bama - again, we're at home Arky - they're good but beatable Bowl Game
I voted 9 wins. We didn't look too good, but many teams did not look good in week 1. Jefferson is better, needs to improve from here if we are to contend.
Dicks often skip the first post that says, "This has been done, but we have seen the team now.. blah blah"
10-3, including a big bowl win against yet another ACC victim. Losses to Bama and two out of Florida/Auburn/Arky/WVU However, if the stupid penalties cut in half and the turnovers cut by 2/3 and somebody in the defensive secondary wakes up - I still think this team may turn on a dime, win 11 or 12, and make a lot of folks who should be happy very sad...
If this was done last week you would have had us losing to UNC as well. LSU wins 5 of those you put down as losses and won't you be pissed.
