Yep, when you look at W/O's Dennis Johnson (DL) playing in 9 games, Ben Domingue(OC) in 5, Seth Furge in 12, the program has done well. Les rewards kids.
That was last year. Nothing stopped us from having a full 85 this year but I am not sure if we had that many. We wither played at 84 or 85 if I had to guess.

In December of last year, LSU self-imposed sanctions that included ... ... a reduction in official visits for the 2010-11 academic year ... a loss of two scholarships for the 2011-12 class:shock::shock::shock: ... a loss of two overall scholarships for the 2011-12 academic year ... a reduction of two national letters of intent LSU can offer before the February 2011 signing date.” The COI accepted those self-imposed sanctions, while also adding three additional penalties: a one-year period of probation, from July 19, 2011, through July 18, 2012; A 10 percent reduction in official visits for football during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 academic years; and a public reprimand and censure.
Game, Set, and Match to that NONSENSE... Here is the official 22 page report sent by the NCAA detailing the sanctions. Remember we were actually awarded 2 scholarships back after taking the sanctions the 1st year. The one you bolded is the intial scholarships or what could be called signed LOI on NSD but we took that last NSD for the 2011-12 class.
