I am asking a serious question? I swear it can not be more than 15 plays. Our receivers run three different routes -- the hitch, the slant, and the out. I am too lazy to rewatch the game and actually count, but it seriously can not be more than 15 different plays per game. I am sure someone out there has actually counted. We have to have the smallest playbook in all of college football. Gameplay meetings each week must last 1 minute. They all sit down and say same as last week and adjourn.
I think that's about right. We did show a new play from the WareCat, but basically, it's the same old 10-15 plays over and over. That sh!t won't fly with an elite D. That said, I think (and hope) Les learned something in last year's NC game and will use the bye week to tweak the offense enough to keep Bama off balance. Too bad it took a loss in that game for him to learn that.
You got 15 plays? that many- "Turn the page, Mac"...I now understand what those folks meant in the late 70's.
Who said he's learned anything from it?? I'm still not seeing any accross the middle, TE or RB relief plays. I'm seeing the same thing ... WR screens, ... or bail it down deep .. with the bread and butter out routes for the WRs.
Some are blaming the tight ends for their lack of involvement saying that "none of them have proven they can catch the ball". In my opinion, you don't avoid using tight ends just because of some dropped passes. If that was the case, there would be no recievers on the field at all.
