I agree for the most part. I never go to the doctor. Once, I was sick for like two months and finally my wife made me go and turns out I had mono for that two months but was over it by the time I went to the doctor. If people only went to the doctor when they actually needed it and not 12 hours after developing the sniffles, our healthcare would be much better off.
I've been sick for the past 2 weeks and I didn't go. Just self medicating with OTC's and it's almost gone now.
Exactly, most still use the emergency room as their primary care physician because they don't have to pay a penny.
Not sure what that is, but I have to get any long term prescriptions through mail order and buy 3 months at a time. Good lord, don't forget to order and run out. My wife did and got her blood pressure medicine a week later.
If you haven't heard of Prior Authorization now you will, I just left Walgreens, my 2 scripts a month ago together were 5 dollars, with my manufacturers coupon I just paid 176.88 for those 2 scripts, while I was in there I overheard 4 people talking about Prior Authorization or PA. Fucking bullshit.
