Not only has the price of prescriptions increased but I just got a long list of medications that my insurance will no longer cover at all. One my son has been on for years and has worked great for him. I can switch him to the one similar drug that they carry and will cost me double or pay for the one he's been taking 100% out of pocket. Oh yes and my monthly payments have increased to go along with higher Co pays and less coverage. Thank you Barrackmed.

Yes, but you're also paying for some welfare mama to have insurance, so that's a good thing! Of course, she'll never use it because she can't afford the co-pay either.

That is because the real intent was never to get more people coverage, it was to make some companies and people very rich.

I go the doctor about once every 15 years. Medicine is for old people. I don't take anything.

If I get near death with illness I buy my own antibiotics from eBay. It's legal because the sellers pretend they are for fish. That sounds made up but it is true.

Yeah it was very risky, a friend of mine is still paying for getting caught and that was in 1996.

Do you have to go through the "Prior Authorization" bullshit?

So far I'm counting my lucky stars. I have excellent corporate health ins that I pay less than a couple of hundred a month for. Even more so, at 64 I only take vitamins and an asprin.

My medication that went from 40 to 268 I'm paying cash for with a manufacturer's coupon that takes it down to 160. My insurance company says I need Prior Authorization for them to cover any of it, this only happened to the 2 expensive meds my wife and I take. Basically the insurance company sits in a room and decides if they want to pay for any of it. Of course they won't because they are expensive meds.

Medicine in this country is a fucking scam.

They need to fix this shit or scrap the ACA.
