    We played them to the wire (and beyond) in '12 and '14. In '13 and Saturday night, we played poorly. It stinks, but it may not be as bleak as it seems.

    Slick Nick has been outcoached before, too (unfortunately, many times when he was our coach.)

    Every coach gets outcoached. Yes, we were dominated the other night. We might not need to make more of it than it was.

    Close only counts in horseshoes. We got dominated in every phase Saturday night. Bama has won 5 in a row. End of story.

    Independence Bowl or Birmingham Bowl is fine. Stacey doesn't care. She'll watch either. Too bad the SEC can't get into the GoDaddy Bowl. I think she'd really like that one.

    At this point the only bowl I would be interested in attending would be if LSU could somehow get into the Bahamas Bowl.

    It's a product of the present system. Losing a late season game is like losing a playoff game and getting eliminated. Not just for LSU but for everybody.

    Only slim hope now is to win out and Bama lose to Moo U or Auburn
    Slim and none. Only 361 more days until Bama comes to Tiger Stadium
