Choose all of the things you think will happen this year. If you think of something of your own, post it below as well. The point of this is to select something surprising, not something expected.

I'm sure the punt returns will be upheld.

Tough, but I think 3 could happen. PP All American, Loston starting safety and LSU could lead in interceptions (largely b/c of PP).

    Great thread, btw.

PP will be All-American, Loston will eventually start, LSU will probably lead with INTs this year, and the rest is up in the air.

And I've seen a lot of optimism in regard to Ford lately. Has Miles said that he will be heavily involved? I remember back in '06 when we couldn't run as well as normal with Broussard and Vincent I think it was, it wasn't until late in the year that Keiland Williams was finally given a chance to prove himself. Then, in '07, when Charles Scott was torching Kentucky, we never see him again for the rest of the game... or really the season. Last year, Russell Shepard wasn't really used for much.

Isn't it pretty much the case that Miles likes to stick with one guy and give him MORE than enough time to prove himself (Jarett Lee, anyone)? I'm not trying to start a flame war. I'm honestly curious. I thought it was Murphy, Ridley, and then Ford.

I'd be ecstatic to find out that Miles wants to involve Ford early on. I want to see him turn into the next Kevin Faulk or something similar, but I think we may not see a decent amount of him until the end of year.

I agree these are all stretches - that was my point. Which unlikely thing might actually happen. PP as a 1st team All American isn't unlikely, i guess, but it's not predicted by most - although Lindy's has him there.

I think Ford will get PT if he looks anything like he did in the Spring. And I think Shepard's days of getting misused are over. Just my opinion.

I think at WR if Shep is on the field all the time, it certainly offers favorable mismatches.

Pat Pete and Shep are the two I've heard.
