I think Clemson blows Alabama out, it won't even be close. Bama could pull off a a win at Auburn but I think it will be hard to do and it depends on how bad we beat them up they may lose to Miss St. as well. Alabama 7-5

Navy may beat ND again this year but I am not so sure of that.
    Notre Dame 5-7

Bama faithfull can live with the five losses you predict. Another loss to Miss. St. this year will cause cracks in the Nick Saban lovefest.

So, the must win game for Saban this year, Miss. St.

That won't happen and I don't see any reason for one to believe we'll get blown out in that game. The contest/battles are going to be along the lines. Our OL vs their DL and vice versa.

FWIW, not that it has mattered in the past, but Auburn is the visiting team this year.

scanning the tide boards, it's sort of the consensus among realistic tide fans too.

    although that's a contradiction, I know

7 win season for both Bama & ND.

Both will be improved. IMO, Bama could get to 9 wins but I think their lack of depth will hurt them somewhere in the season & don't think their WRs will be developed until late. I question how much the Bama players are buying into Saban's system, as they were saying the same things last year as they are saying this year & yet they gave up on him during the season last year. In his second year though, and without a few of the "bad apples", I don't expect that to happen again.

I think Weis has realized the differences between College ball & the NFL, which should mean better player development & play along the lines. 7 wins may still be optimistic for them, but I think last year had a lot to do with a lack of momentum. This year should go smoother.

I bet a friend of mine $20 that Clemson would beat Alabama next year. Clemson's only weakness is their OLine (and midly retarded head coach), but I don't think Bama's DLine is strong enough to expose that weakness.

Is your friend the head coach of Clemson?
