I honestly hadn't looked much at what any of the other teams return but in the dark would say Bama should have an 8 win season- give or take one. Notre Dame though, whew. They shouldn't have any trouble eclipsing their 3 win season should they? 6-6? Alabama @ Clemson Tulane Western Kentucky @ Arkansas @ Georgia Kentucky Ole Miss @ Tennessee Arkansas State @ LSU Mississippi Auburn Notre Dame San Diego State Michigan @ Michigan State Purdue Stanford @ North Carolina @ Washington Pittsburgh @ Boston College @ Navy Syracuse @ USC
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? 7-5 or 8-4 for bama 5-6 or 6-6 for ND Bama loses a game they shouldn't and win one they shouldn't Just a wild guess, though.
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? I tend to think that both of these teams are going to be better than many are going to expect. I would say that Bama has a 9-3 season and ND has an 8-4 season. Just a guess, but it will be interesting to see how things do turn out for these two historied programs. I wonder what made you think of these two to ponder over how their seasons would go? There are so many other programs out there that the same question could be raised. Such as how well will Florida State and the University of Miami do next season, or maybe will it be the season that University of Texas be on top again. Just asking, it just seems like a very odd combination to pose this question, other than they both have such high expectations, but so do a lot of teams.
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? Sure both could easily get to the records you say. It's just for fun now, we haven't even got close to fall ball yet.
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? I wouldn't say easily, but it is possible. I personally would like to see each of the teams I mentioned be back at the level of the promised land, but of course just fall shy of the golden ring. So, that it is there for us to take.
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? Notre Dame cause their coach is an arrogant prick and Bama, well.... :hihi: Seriously, cause they're two schools talked about a lot here and also because of what you said about high expectations. USCw is brought up a lot too but everyone expects them to tip-toe through their conference so I left them off. Lastly, cause it's the off-season and I thought it may drum up some discussion/insight and maybe even bring out BayouIrish who's a good ND poster I haven't seen in a while. His parents are LSU fans.
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? I guess those are as good of answers as any. I am just entertained at being able to talk about some LSU and college sports. Any conversation is good.
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? 1. I expect Tirk and Nootch to have a word with you soon. 2. Bama, 8-4, 7-5. Notre Dame..who knows the exact record, but I think they will be a lot better than most think. Upset prediction: Whether he deserves it or not Charlie will win coach of the year.
Re: How many loses next year for ND and Bama? I wouldn't be shocked to see Bama come out of the gate @ 7-0 (Clemson game is a toss up for me right now). Playing UGA in Athens has a dawg choke job written all over it. I didn't realize Notre Dame still had a football team. Slightly off topic: Did anyone else see Brady Queer with his lipstick and waxed eyebrows on ESPN today? He and Smardiadatouadn were flirting with each other while Dana was eging it on.
