I used to play a pretty good bit there. Do you remember an elderly gentleman named John? Bad ass table tennis player and he owned Ace Hardware (on Govt, I think). He got me involved in the BR Table Tennis Club. Those guys were hard core. Played with them for years.

I took an ASTRO-PHYSICS class in the Astronomy Dept. (Taught by Dr.Howard Bond) that was enjoyable. Dealt with ET's, Time Travel, Space Colonies, Black Holes, ...........etc) Very Interesting.

My favorite professor at L.S.U. was Dr. William Davidson in the Geography/Anthropology Dept. Did anybody have one of his classes?

Also, was anyone lucky enough to take T. Harry Williams's Civil War class? I was never able to get in before he retired.

I took T Harry's CW class....it would probably be banned today as it was positive to the Southern cause. Really a great course. My mother was also one of his graduate assistants.
My favorite professor was Dr Jim Hardy. His European and French history courses were entertaining and very good.

John Naylor. Was tough to beat. Used the Chinese grip on his paddle. There were a couple of tables in Southdowns lounge too and I played a lot of the BRTT Club guys. There was a story in the Advocate about the club a couple of weeks ago. The past president's name is Power Poon but he is not a porn star.

Yep, you are exactly right. Naylor's Hardware was his store. I also remember Power Poon. Those were good times. Who knows, we probably played each other before!

When I started w/ BRTT, it was on Coursey Blvd in an unused part of an engineering firm. Jacobs Engineering maybe?
