Never went, took military route instead and put together a Frankenstein degree from various universities around the country. Need to look into if they have some sort of outreach masters program. It would still say LSU on the diploma
This is exactly what I did. Was an expert an manipulating hours in order stretch it out to another season. I would drop hours to P/T too and sometimes would go P/T in the Spring. No Summer school at all. Football was very inconsistent my entire career, but at least my last year (82) was a decent season. We finally beat Alabama/Bear Bryant in Birmingham, killed Florida.State (The Fog/Orange game) in Tiger Stadium and went to the Orange Bowl against Nebraska. (My last game) Still miss it (Playing in TB and being down on the Field) after 34 years, but I go to most of the games and do the Alumni Band thing every year. Can't believe it's been that long! (The top photo is from 1979. I'm the Bass Drummer right on the 50 yard line. The bottom one is from 1978. I'm the BD'er in between the 2nd and 3rd Snare Drummer)
Graduated LSU in 2006, could honestly go back and teach a curriculum on how to get an undergrad without ever attending college.....I enjoyed myself too much but it was well worth it.
BS in EE 1987. Unfortunately, my home was robbed a couple of years ago and my LSU ring stolen. Sucks.
I lost my Balfour LSU class ring and when I wanted to replace it, the new Balfour designs had "Toonces" on them (Instead of he old school Tiger) and I refused to buy one. They really do need to eliminate Toonces from the rings, since it is not a current logo that is being used any longer...................
Ah, a cunning linguist. Gee man, not sure you could do better than that. You probably spent most of your days listening to Urethra Franklin and watching the boob tube (hint, that's double credit). Your friends ever egg you on to do anything crazy? Ok, I'm done, I refuse to cuntinue.
