Everyone had to deal with COVID, opt outs, coaches leaving etc. the good leaders navigate thru it. We didn’t so that says a lot about our leadership. With that said no one expected the shit storm 2020 would bring so I would be ok with giving another year to right the ship and see what our leadership learned in all of this. If coaches decide to retire, take other jobs or whatever the off-season brings I’m ok with that too. I'm not in the excuse camp with O. He was hired to bring and KEEP us at the level our rivals are. He gets paid as such so he should produce as such. Saban has his team competing every year for the top spot regardless of how many players coaches or girlfriends he loses the year before. They are the team we have to beat every year just like we did last year. Next year step up!!!
LSU defense is 121st in the nation in yards per game. Not 74th. 121st. We are 125th out of 127 teams in yards given up per play (7.23). Get rid of this piece of shit. He makes me long for the days of Malleveto.
Probably be more upset about Pelini, if he actually had a LBer coach & had not inherited a two-headed DB coaching nightmare, giving up 400+ yards through the air nearly every game. I say fire them all & go get a Top 20 coach, who knows he needs to hire a linebacker coach & better DB coach (1 not 2, imo) & a better DL coach. LSU will just keep adding Bandaid fixes, that last 1 season, until O's merciful end. But can't give up hope, could be a Joe Brady or Dave Aranda ready to make the team instantly better.
You think of Oeaux the way CNN thinks of Donald Trump. How do you expect anybody on this forum to take you seriously?
I think it was an incredibly bad decision. You're talking about ODS. I might have it, yet am against Liberals. Am I wrong? Were sitting on a lofty 4-5 Football record with a chance to go 5-5. We are heading into the first losing or non-winning season since the 1990s. O brought us here.
Similar to what we did with Miles. If wholesale changes happened, I think I could accept it. Ideally I think we retain a few if they are willing to adapt (including O).
