    There's got to be an awful lot of steam building up in ole Georgie Boy. Yankee haters have got to be enjoying this. 13 and a half out, last place and pretty much out of it before June.

    Sure seems like he is past due, but does anyone else think he has mellowed a bit? Not to suggest he can't still fire people if the yankees don't make the playoffs. Not really any excuse for them as one of the highest paid clubs, these guys should compete for the championship every year.

    Baseball is such a long season with so many ups and downs for everyone, I could see them pulling this season out if they actually start playing soon.

    But it has probably been to long since Steiny blew a gasket. Maybe we will get lucky and see it again this year. :lol::lol:

    I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. I think age has mellowed him some. Can you imagine this happening 15-20 years ago?

    There's a new baseball team in New York.....The Mets......and they ain't going nowhere anytime soon.

    I'm just sitting back and enjoying the transition. It's been a while since we Mets fans have had much to look forward to. The Yanks will be back, but until then, I will enjoy this while I can.
