How do we look with remaining targets and does losing Pratt hurt our chances at "best class ever"?

Best class ever is definitely gone. Maybe best class ever at LSU and an outstanding class for sure.

Jeez, I feel a little disappointed. I was a bit excited over this talk that we might have the best class ever. Hopefully we'll still deliver the best LSU class ever.

If we can get Mingo and RR, then it will absolutely be the best class ever in LSU recruiting history. In NCAA history? ISLSTL will be along shortly to explain that one to you. :thumb:

We needed Debose or Campbell to get that distinction as the best class ever on rivals.com.

We will come very close to the record held by LSU of 2695 points in 2006 with the addition of Randle. Another 4 star recruit and we will eclipse it easily. Basically we need to replace Pratt to achieve that.

    How realistic is that?

    Myles (50/50), Montgomery (50/50), Stinson (30/70), Sua'Filo (30/70), Kelly (30/70).

We have 5 shots at it, and possibly a surprise 4 star (RB maybe?).

    Very realistic.

I wonder if the staff will even try for another RB(outside of TR)? Feels like it would almost be too late at this point. Perhaps they just funnel it into another defensive player or one of the greyshirts gets added to this years class after all.

I would rather have Pratt, but maybe this makes the numbers game easier.

    What about Mingo?

    Actually you're correct.

Mingo replaces Pratt in terms of points and Randle puts us at about 2760-2770 point range.

Now everything else puts us closer to the magic 3000. It would take four 4 star recruits to get to 3000, and that's after Mingo. That won't happen.
