How important is this season's record for recruiting?

I agree, though per capita we produce as much talent as anyone. In the past we would go outside the state for lineman much more than skill guys. Now we seem to produce liman on a regular basis. We supplement this with out of state guys. Our recent national championships have opened up much more of the nation for us. Players who would normally go elsewhere now look at LSU as a place to go if you want to win.
