Because even Sabanfan is pissed off at the QB.

Whats funny to me is that everything Les did last year was right on and worked out but I believe its quite the opposite this year.
I like others questioned having co-defensive coordinators leaving not one
person but two responsible for the defense.

I also don't understand going with Jarrett Lee time and time again giving up
so many big plays and points to the opposition.
I also don't know why we don't at least see what Jordan Jefferson can do to
salvage the rest of the season or possibly not.
I don't see him being as bad as Lee at times.
There is no reason to redshirt JJ when you have Russell Sheppard coming in
    next year.

I am sticking by my prediction that we will lose 3 games this year but my fear
is it could possibly get worse.
I still say it is a rebuilding year but man do we have a long way to geaux which isn't a good sign for this time of year!
What a difference a year can make!

Things are never as bad as they seem.

I'm not down on Lee, I'm just curious as to why the coaches keep putting him in that position. If it was me, we'd have 3 first downs before they called a passing play.

I agree. I would let him settle into the game before making him throw the ball. I would not say 3 first downs, but my first few plays would be runs to let him relax a bit.

We tried running it on first and 2nd down vs Florida, and all that got us was 3rd and long. That lasted for nearly an entire half.

The play call was correct to begin this game, the fact that Lee cannot look in another direction before throwing the ball is the issue at hand. Execution.

    Crowton isn't the issue.

I would lots rather be a LSU fan than a Tennessee fan... they are 3-5 now after losing to Alabama.

I guess in a way i was questioning Crowton and i really don't mean to. My real point is that it appears that Lee needs to be eased into the game.

I've posted this before but truth is we should have a seasoned 4th year junior quarterback leading our team. But thats not our only problem.

I do. Why that stupid roll out play at the end of the half (that led to a pick) to kill all the momentum we had? Why not keep running it down their throat? Stupid. He gets too cute sometimes... with a head case at QB.

    1-10 END OF GAME

In fact, we only rushed on first and second down three times the entire game, and all three times wound up converting (twice on the second down run and once on a third and 4 pass).

However, at least Florida's D was looking pretty stout. It looked to me like we could have run for 300+ yards tonight and taken a lot of pressure off the QB and defense.

I don't think Crowton is leaning on his running game as much as he could or should be. I understand that he doesn't want to be one-dimensional, but I think he is unnecessarily putting too much in Lee's hands.
