Seems reasonable. And he talks about the DL in terms of lack of quality depth compared to previous years. I think he's nailed it.
Well if he knew for sure Black would be back, he wouldn't question the O-line as much and probably have us in his top 10. Definitely a fair assessment.
I'd say # 10. JJ and RS put a whole new light on next year and bringing in John Chavis puts us back in the top 3 defensively in the SEC. 2009 looks a whole lot better than 2008.

Mark May lists LSU at #5. Looks like LSU will be in the top 10 for sure, and maybe as high as 5. Usually the pundits aren't very far off.
#14. The world has not seen enough of JJ to depend on him, less so of Shepard. D-line to replace, although Alem looks good at end, so we got at least one slot taken IMO.
Slidell comes in at # 17.... Jefferson will have to prove himself for a season. We lose all the starters on the DLine...may not matter, we will see. :rofl:
