If I had played last night's powerball numbers I'd be a millionare today and would not be posting here because I became succesful overnight.

If I hadn't drank so much that dark october night, then I would still be single.

our defense would still suck ass
RP probably could have won enough games for us last year (and a possibly kept up with UF and UGA) that the co DCs would have been given another year.

That's a decent projection for the troubled Perriloux, but had he not been a trouble maker and gotten kicked off the team... his athleticism alone would've been spreading apart defenses and getting the ball in the hands of our most dangerous playmakers. Besides the boy could also run, so imo... had RP not gotten in trouble and been a real contributor... we'd have won several more games last season, and be undefeated now. You may not like Perriloux but you have to respect his ability.

From the article i read today, the other 2 were kicked off the team completely, and Janzen is not allowed to participate in any team functions until they deem his full role in the incidents.

We'd be 1-loss at worst right now. Most likely undefeated and #1 in the nation. I think getting rid of him was the right move.. but I'm not so sure it was the correct move for the sustained success we've grown accustomed to.

He could run, hit receivers in stride, and chunk the ball half a mile. Ryan P lined up next to Shepard would have been a thing of beauty.

Yeah, but Ryan P. lined up next to another bunch of criminals in the Baton Rouge City Jail letting someone pick him out would have been much less of a thing of beauty. As Crash Davis said, "Million dollar arm with a five cent brain."

And, of course, we have to wonder if they actually would have lined up next to each other. After all, it makes sense to see Shepard, Holiday, Lafell and Scott all in the game at the same time, right? But I can't remember if that ever actually has happened this year.
