What's really amazing to me is that Jones started the play on a safety blitz and was getting blocked when McFadden ran into the hole created by his blitz. From the point where RunDMC passed him, Jones had to slip off the block, turn around and keep from running into another Tiger. Even with that head-start, he almost caught up when he was blocked again. The man has speed to burn He will be All American before he leaves. GEAUX TIGERS
Technically, Chad did catch Dmac. He just got blocked and was unable to make the tackle but if you watch the play from all angles, you can see that Dmac let's up just a little. From the front view of the play, you can even see Dmac begin to throw up his trademark bicep flex with his right arm until he realizes there is someone right on his tail. That's not to take away from Jones cause the kid is a beast.
