How does Mullen firing affect LSU hiring new HC?

If this goes on much longer without naming a coach I have to suspect SW has his man in Riley. As long as Ok is in the CFP race they won’t announce anything if Riley is his man. Riley will not jeopardize a national championship opportunity and announce beforehand, unless they lose another game. Do I think they win a NC…no. Then again, if they do does a NC winning coach take a new job? I just can’t see this continuing to drag out unless a deal is already in place regardless of who it is. If there is no deal yet we may be screwed

 

This firing certainly expedites everything. They’re gonna go big name for sure after Mullen.

Sadly I think it will be BoB and in my opinion that is worse than Jimbo or any other name previously mentioned.

BoB isn't a foul ball for Mr. Swing for the fences, its a swing and a miss at a knuckleball that didn't even reach the plate. Woodward should be fired if that is the hire.

 

Any reason to think Mullen would get consideration at LSU as HC?? Florida seemed to pull the trigger pretty quickly on him (which may mean he's really lost the team or other things are going on?). Someone like him just does not forget how to coach in a 3 year span. I think he's a very good coach, or at least he seemed to be.
